Armed robbers shot and killed a security guard at a Total fuel station in Suhum, in the Eastern region.
The incident occurred yesterday, Monday, October 30, a tragic incident occurred.
The five robbers attacked the fuel station on foot around 6:4e 3 p.m., while it was raining. They stormed into the mart and confronted the security guard, Kwasi Agbeti, also known as Killer.
When Agbeti tried to flee the mart, the robbers shot him at close range.
The robbers also shot the supervisor of the fuel station in his office and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
They also assaulted a tanker driver who had just arrived to offload fuel, stealing his phone and GH1000.
Agbeti was rushed to the hospital in a customer’s vehicle, but he died upon arrival. The supervisor is currently being treated at the Eastern Regional Hospital.
