Ghana Premier League week 8: Hearts of Oak return to winning ways, Aduana Stars on fire

Accra Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways on Wednesday, November 1, after thumping champions Medeama SC on match day 8 of the ongoing 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians defeated the Mauve and Yellows 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium, which was the first time coach Martin Koopman and his team scored three goals in a single game in the season.

Aduana Stars also continued their form, having beaten Real Tamale United 3-1 on match day 7 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium with a heavy home victory against Bofoakwa Tano FC.

The two-time Ghana Premier League champions thumped Bofoakwa Tano 4-2 at Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa to move to the first position on the league table.
Drams FC also lost 2-0 at home at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu to Berekum Chelsea, while Nations FC also recorded a heavy 4-0 victory against Real Temale United.
