Minister for Communications and Digitalization, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has warned Ghanaian voters not to commit the mistake of bringing back “incompetent” former President John Dramani Mahama.
The Minister says Mr. Mahama will bring nothing but extreme hardship, and Ghanaian voters must not allow themselves to be deceived into returning John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking exclusively to Rainbow Radio’s Boshyeba, she said Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia remains a nightmare for the NDC.
“If we start our campaign, the NDC will be shocked.” They will get the shock of their lives. John Mahama, pardon me, is an old cassava. We are familiar with the type of leadership he delivered. He was inept and subjected Ghanaians to unimaginable hardship.
I dare to claim that if the NDC had been in power when COVID-19 hit, more people would have died than have died under this regime. Mahama has nothing to offer Ghanaians. I shall urge people not to be duped into re-electing the inept Mahama-led NDC.
“Even the NDC thinks marketing the incompetent one is going to be easier. How much more is a Vice President who has achieved a lot and performed so well compared to Mahama, who was a President?
The Ablekuma Central MP believes Ghana will experience transformational leadership under Dr. Bawumia as president.
“The NDC will run for cover when we launch our campaign after the primary.” Despite the difficulties we faced, we have accomplished much. I shall ask Ghanaians to remain patient because this government is committed to maintaining economic stability.”
