Alhaji Abdul Rahman, the Ejura Sekyedumase Constituency Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, has complained about the ineffectiveness of the Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Kingsley Osei.
According to Alhaji Abdul Rahman, he and his executives do not have a personal problem with Dr. Kingsley Osei, as it is being perpetuated in the media space.
However, they are worried that his ineffectiveness and bad governance can hurt the NPP in the upcoming 2024 elections, and they need him to turn things around for the betterment of the party.
“We in the party do not have a personal problem with him, but we have a problem with his work as an MCE and how he has been doing it since he assumed office.”
“Most people, including the young and old, are counting on him, but he has not been performing to our satisfaction. He has a big responsibility, and he must perform, but we as a party won’t resort to public insults to register our displeasure.”
“He is stubborn and doesn’t listen to advice, but he must listen because he came to the office because of the NPP victory, and he must work for the glory of the party that gave him the position,” he said as aired on Rainbow Radio Accra.
