The rate of inflation for October 2023 has dropped to 35.2% from 38.1%
This is the third consecutive time, inflation has dropped.
The rate represents a 2.9 percentage point decrease from the 38.1% recorded in September.
Food inflation stood at 44.8% and non-food inflation at 27.7%.
The figures were captured in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data released by the Ghana Statistical Service on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Prof. Samuel Kobina Annim, the government statistician, emphasized the positive development of a decline in inflation rates.
