Hammer of the Last 2 Music Group, a well-known music producer, has announced his resignation from his day job as Managing Partner and Head of Sales/Marketing at A1 Bread Factory.
The legendary music producer has announced his resignation in order to return to the music producing business.
He resigned from his day job after considerable contemplation, he said.
He disclosed this through a Facebook post saying, after several considerations and projects he has involved himself into, the best decision is to resign from his day job at the bread making factory to make a return to beat making. He added that his resignation is not a disassociation from the A1 brand because he still stands as an equity shareholder with the company.
He also stated that his reason for resigning is to focus on a music compilation project that he began in August 2023.
He indicated that the project was supposed to be released in April 2023, but he was unable to do so owing to his inability to manage his day work and his creative process.
“The problem is, this album’s completion has become protracted due to my trying to balance the demands of my creative process and my day job as Managing Partner and Head of Sales/Marketing at A1 Bread, all whilst simultaneously trying to manage RedEye’s comeback album as well… so I had to make a decision”, he said.
He added that his return to the music production will also not affect his retail and distribution deal with Ekumfi Juice due to the less demanding nature of his role in the business. He announced that Ghanaians should anticipate his new album in 2024 titled ‘Echelon’.
“Ekumfi Juice, on the other hand, isn’t as demanding because we’re only key distributors of the brand; thus, the team will continue serving you the best pineapple juice in the world today. Look out for my new album ‘Upper Echelon’ in early 2024,” he added.

I’ve been working on my new compilation album for a while now. The album is mostly dominated by the new school artists and blessed by some veteran artists as well. Production commenced around August 2022 and targeted a scheduled release date of April 2023.
The problem is, this album’s completion has become protracted due to my trying to balance the demands of my creative process and my day job as Managing Partner and Head of Sales/Marketing at A1 Bread, all whilst simultaneously trying to manage RedEye’s comeback album as well… so I had to make a decision.
Im glad to report that A1 Bread has accepted my resignation in good faith to allow me to focus on my return to music, and my decision to resign from my day job will not impact my standing in the company as an equity stakeholder whatsoever.
Ekumfi Juice, on the other hand, isn’t as demanding because we’re only key distributors of the brand; thus, the team will continue serving you the best pineapple juice in the world today.
Look out for my new album ‘Upper Echelon’ in early 2024.
Thank you and Happy Holidays.
