Coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton says although Ghana lost in its game against Comoros, his side was better.
Speaking after the game, he noted that the team was the superior side but attributed the loss to their inability to convert chances.
Comoros won the game with a lone goal which came in the 43rd minute.
The goal was scored by Myziane Maolida.
“In my opinion over the 90 minutes, we were the better team. I thought Ghana were the better team.” He expressed dissatisfaction with the conceded goal and the team’s failure to capitalize on their chances.
“This was not a game where Comoros won comfortably. Over the 90 minutes, we were the better team but unfortunately, we were not able to put away the chances that we created,” Hughton added.
Ghana is currently in third place on the table.
Comoros is topping the table followed by Mali in second place.
