The Ghana Police Service has offered an apology to the Ghanaian public for the traffic situation that occurred on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, on the Accra-Ofankor road.
A brief statement issued by the police explained that the traffic situation was necessitated by the Course 52 Cadet Officers’ graduation ceremony at the National Police Training School.
It said it sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused by the traffic congestion caused.
The statement issued and signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi said the IGP had the entire Police Service apologise for the incident.
The police added that they have learned relevant lessons from what happened and will improve the management of traffic for similar events going forward.
