The Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana has declared their intention to embark on a strike action on November 29, 2023.
A statement issued by the association said all efforts to have their issues addressed have proved futile.
According to the association, they will lay down their tools until all their issues have been addressed.
The workers noted that the intention to embark on the strike is in the exercise of our rights, as the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana stipulates.
One of the main reasons for the strike action, according to them, is the poor conditions of service.
