Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak, has taken Hafiz Bin Salih, the Upper East Regional Minister, to the cleaners over the latter’s comment on former President John Dramani Mahama’s proposed 24-hour economy policy.

A video of the minister has gone viral, with him shooting down the policy and making claims that it will prevent farmers in the region from sleeping with their wives.

He also claimed that if the policy is implemented, it will affect the farmers and make them lose their wives to other men.

Reacting to these assertions, Dr. Apaak slammed the minister, describing him as ignorant.

To him, the comments by the minister typify the silly and deliberate ignorance Dr. Bawumia and his NPP has about the proposed policy.

He went on to state that even in countries where war and instability had affected the lives of the people, they managed to sleep with their wives.

Dr. Apaak indicated that Dr. Bawumia, as presidential candidate for the failed NPP, has nothing to offer Ghanaians.

He said Ghanaians are not that stupid to give the useless, corrupt, and reckless Akufo-Addo/Bawumia NPP government an extension in office.

He further asserted that no rational human being will choose a group that has inflicted such pain and suffering on them while living large as if there is no tomorrow.

The Akufo-Addo/Bawumia NPP government must pay dearly for the excruciating hardship they have subjected Ghanaians to,’ he added.

What has a 24-hour economy got to do with farming at night and sleeping or not sleeping with wives at night? Don’t men in 24-hour economies sleep with their wives? Even in war zones, couples manage to do the needful.

The comments of the Upper East Regional Minister in reaction to JM’s much welcomed 24-hour economy proposal in the attached video typifies the silly and deliberate ignorance of Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.

Indeed, Bawumia and the NPP have nothing to offer Ghanaians. Ghanaians are not that stupid to give the USELESS, corrupt, and reckless Akufo-Addo/Bawumia NPP gov’t an extension in office.

No rational human being will choose a group that has inflicted such pain and suffering on him/her whiles living large as if there is no tomorrow. The Akufo-Addo/Bawumia NPP gov’t must pay dearly for the excruciating hardship they have subjected Ghanaians to.
