The Police have arrested four (4) more suspects in connection with the violent disturbance during the installation of a Paramount Chief at Sampa in the Bono Region.
According to the Police, the situation led to the death of one person.
The suspects were arested on November, 30, 2023 leading to the death of one person.
This brings to eleven (11) the total number of suspects arrested so far, while eight more persons have been reportedly injured during the disturbance.
One more weapon has also been retrieved, bringing the total number of weapons retrieved to three (3), the Police said.
The brief statement from the Poluce added that calm has since been restored as security is strengthened at Sampa and its environs to ensure law and order while the investigation continues.
