The Black Queens of Ghana have qualified for the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations, which will be hosted in Morocco.
Ghana qualified for the tournament scheduled to be hosted by the defending champions, Morocco, after eliminating Namibia from the final qualification games.
The Black Queen, despite their 1-0 defeat in Namibia on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, qualified 3-2 on aggregate after beating the Namibians 3-1 in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The defeat of the Queens to Namibia was the first loss in 11 games under coach Nora Hauptle.
The Black Queens have now joined Morocco, South Africa, and Algeria as the countries that have qualified for the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations.
