Rainbow Radio’s newsreader, Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi, has emerged as the winner in the 2023 edition of the Jupiter Radio and Television Personality Awards, Greater Accra Regional category.
He was nominated in the ‘Best Radio Male Newsreader of the Year’ category and was declared the winner at the event, which was held on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
He was also nominated in the ‘Radio Live Worship Host of the Year’ category and won that category too.
The Jupiter Radio & Television Personality Awards are an award scheme that seeks to empower the next generation of media and celebrate personalities and brands that inspire, entertain, and shape our society.
Speaking to Rainbowradioonline.com after the ceremony, the multitalented presenter dedicated the award to God, his family, loyal listeners, and colleagues at Rainbow Radio.
He also expressed gratitude to the organisers for the recognition.
He further commended listeners of Rainbow Radio for their support over the years.
He promised to deliver his best since these two awards have placed expectations on him.
According to him, these two awards are a testament to the fact that he ought to do more than what he did, which got him the awards.
He commended his colleagues at work, saying their support over the years has helped in shaping him and winning the awards.
