The participating agencies have been diligently working throughout the semester, collaborating with various organizations to identify high-priority problems and their suitable communication solutions.

The first edition of the “UniMAC Pitch Day” will include public relations students from UniMAC GIJ showcasing their ingenuity in building PR initiatives.

The event and competition will be overseen and supervised by Noel Nutsugah, a well-known public relations lecturer and researcher in Ghana.

The event will see these agencies present their campaign plans which comprises the problems identified, the specific objectives outlined, and the target audiences defined for their respective campaigns.

The campaigns (video, audio, or poster) generated from the plans will also be presented during the pitch event.

The UniMAC Pitch Day aims to provide a stage for the student agencies to not only impress the representatives of the organizations but also captivate the entire student population with their innovative ideas and strategic thinking.

The event, which is also a competition, promises to be fierce as the agencies will strive to secure the top positions on the ranking board, which will be determined by a panel of independent seasoned public relations practitioners. These judges will bring their wealth of experience to the table, critically evaluating each campaign for its conceptualisation, relevance, and execution, among others.

The event serves as an opportunity for students, faculty, and industry professionals to witness the modern strategies and creativity that the next generation of public relations practitioners are bringing to the field.

As the countdown to January 12 begins, anticipation is building for what promises to be a memorable showcase of talent, innovation, and strategic thinking at the UniMAC Pitch Day.
