The chiefs and opinion leaders of Assin Dwaso in the Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region have declared their support for Godfred Nti Anewu as a parliamentary aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Assin Central Constituency.
The Chiefs trooped to the NPP Regional Office on Wednesday, December 3, 2024, to support Godfred Nti Anewu in going through a successful vetting process clad in their traditional regalia.
Speaking to Rainbow Radio Accra, Nana Kwadwo Gurah, Chief of Assin Dwaso, said they didn’t go to the NPP Regional Office to do politics but to support Nti Anewu, who is one of their own.
“We are all happy to be here because God Nti Anewu is a royal in this community, and we were glad that he came to inform us about his plans to contest for the parliamentary seat.”
“He outlined his plans and vision for the constituency, and that is why we came here today. We didn’t come to do politics but to support our own,” Nana Kwadwo Gurah said on Rainbow Radio Accra.
Godfred Nti Anewu also advised delegates not to allow themselves to be swayed by money because the future of their children is at stake.
