A police patrol patrol car capsized on the Adjoum-Enchi Kwahu section, killing one officer.

Osofoba Ezekiel, reporting from the region on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM’s Nyankonton Mu Nsem, said the patrol squad was on the lookout for suspected individuals in. possession of illegal substances.
He stated that upon arriving at the location of the incident, they noticed that the bridge was unstable and attempted to retreat.
However, the bridge collapsed and killed the officer on the spot.
Three more officers were injured but are presently undergoing treatment.
He further alleged that the police pursued the suspects because they refused to halt at a police barrier when told to.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at a private mortuary for further investigation.
