The decomposing body of a man was discovered at Diamond Hill, a suburb of Atwima Denkyemuoso in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The dead, believed to be in his mid-40s, was discovered in a bush.
The deceased has yet to be named.
Hon David Asare, the Assembky man confirmed an incident involving a deceased man who was allegedly attacked with sharp weapons, following an examination by Dr. Sampane at Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The attack according to the Pathologist lead to the death of the deceased.
“We had to invite Dr Sampane to the scene due to how the body had rotten in the bush, and after careful examination, he said the man was beating to death”.
“He also said he suspected the suspects to attack the deceased with a weapon suspected to be machete”. The Assembly Member said.
According to him, the body was buried at the scene after a thorough discussion with the police, pathologist, municipal environmental officer, and chiefs.
