The Ghana Police Service has arrested 25 people in connection with an attack on police officers at Kwahu Bepong in the Eastern Region.
A brief statement issued by the service indicated that the suspects destroyed some properties after they attacked the officers.
A reinforcement team working with the local police have restored calm and normalise things, the police added.
Meanwhile, the police say efforts are ongoing to get the other suspects arrested for them to be prosecuted.
The service further pledged to release full details of the incident in due course.
