Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng, the MCE for Nsawam Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region, has reacted to his dismissal.
Speaking to Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he thanked the president for allowing him to serve as MCE.
He stated that he was not fired for any crime, scandal, or corruption-related activity.
He noted that he had written an official letter to the president expressing his appreciation for the opportunity to serve.
He described himself as one of the top MCEs in the country, and he received numerous honours for his outstanding contribution to the assembly.
He promised to support the party’s efforts to break the 8 and to aid the person who would succeed him.
“I wasn’t fired because I was corrupt.” I have received numerous honours as one of the greatest MCEs in the country and Eastern Region. I have thanked the president and his vice for the opportunity to serve as the MCE during their term.
I am willing to continue campaigning for the party in the hopes of breaking the eight-year jinx. I will assist the party in increasing its regional vote share. I have been named the best MCE in the Eastern Region. You can’t take that record from me. I was appointed, and I gave my all. I have served under his administration for seven years, and I am grateful to the President. I’ve drafted a thank-you note that I’ll send to him. He knows better, and I respect his decision. I will also support the person nominated to succeed me. That is my objective and what I want to do,” he explained.
