A driver and an occupant of a Toyota Camry have escaped unhurt after they ran into a ditch.
The incident occurred in Shiashie, a suburb in the Greater Accra Region.
The driver of the car with registration number GT 3027-19 was reportedly driving at top speed before running over a gutter before running into the ditch.
The other occupant in the car was a student whom the driver had gone to pick up from school because she was unwell.
Some workers in the area told Rainbowradioonline.com that this was not the first time a car had run into the ditch in the area.
According to him, the cars that usually run into the ditch in the area usually drive at top speed.
“This is not the first time this has occurred. Several cars have run into the ditch here. Usually, those who run at the top speed are the ones that win into the ditch,” one of the workers said.
