The Ashanti Regional branch of Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen’s Movement for Change has cautioned the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to stop the attacks on their presidential candidate.
A statement issued by the Movement alleges it has gathered information about a plot by the NPP to attack the candidate in marketplaces.
According to them, the plot to attack the candidate has been orchestrated by the ruling government following successful engagements between the candidate and market women and traders.
The statement further alleged that “We are reliably informed by our sources that the NPP plans to deploy party faithfuls in the various public venues scheduled to be visited by our Presidential Candidate in an attempt to mud his engagement and disparage his integrity. They have further envisaged to ensure that Alan Kyeremateng becomes unpopular in the face of the electoral voters.
It is now clear without doubt that the message of Movement for Change has been widely accepted by the Ghanaian populace with the growing popularity of our presidential candidate causing fear to the leadership of the two political parties.”

The leadership of Movement for Change in the Ashanti Region has picked an intel which unveils a plot by the ruling New Patriotic Party to attack our Presidential candidate, Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng in his public engagements especially with the market community. We are reliably informed by our sources that the NPP plans to deploy party faithfuls in the various public venues scheduled to be visited by our Presidential Candidate in an attempt to mud his engagement and disparage his integrity. They have further envisaged to ensure that Alan Kyeremateng becomes unpopular in the face of the electoral voters.
It is now clear without doubt that the message of Movement for Change has been widely accepted by the Ghanaian populace with the growing popularity of our presidential candidate causing fear to the leadership of the two political party’s.
Leadership of Movement for Change in Ashanti Region through this release would like to emphasize that;
•The presidential candidate, Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng would never be moved by these acts as his resolve remains unwavering.
•No amount of intimidation and unpatriotic acts can derail the hard-earned reputation of Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng in his bid to lead the people of Ghana to a brighter future with the Great Transformational Plan.
•The leadership of Movement for Change is resolute and focused on our mission of ensuring that our presidential candidate, Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng will be elected as the next president of Ghana in the next general elections and this cowardly behaviour not only leaves us unperturbed but also strengthens our resolve.
To establish clarity, this release by the leadership of Movement for Change in Ashanti Region is on the grounds of an initial plot of attack on the presidential candidate which was fruitless although there were casualties. It is in this regard that we want to strenuously send a word of caution to the New Patriotic Party and other parties to be guided by their actions as we head towards the polls.
On December 7 2024, the good people of Ghana will assess the campaign messages of all the presidential aspirants and vote for their preferred candidate. This democratic process is an expression of ideas through the ballot in electing leaders who can help develop and transform the country of which we are fully convinced that the Butterfly will emerge victorious.
Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, our presidential candidate is committed and won’t relent on the mantra that “Ghana will Rise Again”.
