The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Twumasi, has been relieved of his post.
Mr. Dodzie Numekevor has been appointed as acting Director General.
Mr. Numekevor will be acting in that role until a substantive person has been appointed.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante on February 26, 2024.
The new appointee has 14 days to accept the appointment, the statement said.
