The Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak, threw salvos at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for claiming to have acquired the needed skills from the President, hence the need for Ghanaian voters to vote for him as the next president.
Dr. Bawumia has consistently likened himself to a driver’s mate who has acquired the needed skills to take over from his boss as the next driver.
However, Dr. Apaak believes that if we are to use the analogy used by the Vice President, then he does not qualify to be the next driver.
He argued that the driver in question, who is the president, has messed up the economy and driven Ghanaians into unbearable situations.
It is therefore his view that the person who wants to seek our votes is not qualified to be the next president.
He warned that Dr. Bawumia would be dangerously worse than his boss, the president, considering the leadership we have witnessed over the past years.
He stressed the need for Ghanaians to reject Dr. Bawumia since he lacks what it takes to be our next president.
He wrote “How can a driver mate tutored by a grossly incompetent driver claim he has acquired skills and experience to do better than his master when what he knows is what he has imbibed from his master? A mate who betrays his master to a car owner as a driver Banza, and who doesn’t declare full daily sales, with the intent of being given the opportunity to replace his master, is bound to be dangerously worse than his master! Reject DMB! Reject NPP!”
