Fire has destroyed parts of the Madina Market in Accra.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
The fire is said to have started at 9:00 p.m..
Firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service were at the scene to douse the fire around the same time.
Details emerging indicate that about 50 stalls were destroyed by the fire.
It is not yet clear what caused the inferno, but the Fire Service has launched an investigation into it.
