The Electoral Commission (EC) has officially announced the recruitment of temporary electoral officials as part of its preparations for the 2024 parliamentary and presidential elections.
The electoral body is receiving applications from interested persons for the positions of registration officers, exhibition officers, presiding officers, registration assistants (data entry clerks and lamination officers), exhibition assistants, and polling assistants (verification officers, ballot issuers, and name reference list officers).
According to the EC, all successful applicants would be engaged in all three major activities scheduled by the EC for the general elections, namely the voter registration exercise, the exhibition of voter registers, and theGeneral Election.
“All applicants are to email their application letters and CVs to the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission via the following address: http://ECIobsGhana.com.
Applicants should indicate the position they are applying for, as well as the region, district, and constituency in which they wish to work,” said the EC.
The deadline for the submission of applications is Monday, April 29, 2024.
