Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), believes that with God’s aid, he can transform the country.
Dr. Bawumia stated that he will continue to contribute constructively to the country’s change.
The second gentleman of the nation made the remarks during a meeting with clerics in Takoradi on Thursday, May 2, as part of his Western Regional Campaign Tour.
He committed to work with the church to address some of the country’s developmental difficulties.
“I believe that I can do something for Ghana. I believe God uses everybody that he wants to use to change the society…I believe that something good can come from Walewale and if God says that it should come from Walewale it will come from Walewale,” he said.
He also requested the men of God to pray for the country so that any scheme by politicians to undermine our peace and security should be avoided.
