A campaign team member of Movement for Change (M4C), Yaw Buaben Asamoa, has appealed to Ghanaian voters to give Alan Kyerematen a chance to be the next president of Ghana.
The private legal practitioner says the former Trade and Industry Minister is qualified, competent, and not corrupt.
Mr. Asamoa indicated that it was about time Ghanaians gave an independent candidate the opportunity to govern since we have tried the two major political parties and have not seen any serious level of growth.
He lamented that “despite the trust and confidence we had in the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party, they have both submitted incompetent people to be at the helm of affairs”.
The lawyer noted that “anytime these two political parties get the opportunity to manage the affairs of the country, they mess up, run the economy down, take us to the International Monetary Fund, and also plunge us into an energy crisis popularly known as ‘dumsor’.”
He assured Ghanaians both home and abroad that “Alan will demonstrate leadership and will be or run a corrupt government infested with family, friends, or cronies”.
Buaben Asamoa further indicated that Alan will deal with corruption in a manner that will prevent the canker and will go after all officials who have misappropriated state funds.
Under the Alan presidency, Buaben Asamoa said the man will practice a unity government that will unite the nation for national development.
He also promised that the Alan administration will work with no more than 40 ministers if he is elected president.
He was speaking in an interview on Rainbow Radio 92.4 FM, UK.
To the Ghanaians in the UK, he admonished them not to lose hope in the country but to remain steadfast and believe that the country can get better under a new Alan administration.
He asked them to spread the message of the M4C and convince their friends and family to vote massively for Alan Kyerematen.
