Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak, provided several trips of gravel at a cost of GHC 11,200.00 to fill the large potholes on the Fumbisi Senior High School Road and Town Wiesi Road.
Akogtu Daniel, Deputy Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), said in a statement that the potholes were created through the recklessness of the government’s refusal to pay the contractor, MYTURN LTD, to fix the deplorable situation.

The constituency chairman, Mr. Caesar Akinkang, and the assemblyman for the electoral area, Mr. Henry Ayeng, with the help of some residents, particularly the youth, assisted in filling most of the dangerous life-threatening potholes.
Addressing the youth after the activity, Chairman Akinkang expressed gratitude to the youth for making time to contribute to the development of the area and admonished them to continue to show their support to the MP anytime there are such communal activities.

He also, on behalf of the MP, expressed disappointment in the government for failing to deliver on its promises in providing motorbike roads in the constituency.
He assured the constituents that a new government under the leadership of former President John Dramani Mahama will provide leadership that addresses the various challenges confronting them, including the issue of deplorable roads.
