A fishing boat accident that occurred near Ada West District in the Greater Accra Region has left one person dead.
The boat is said to have capsized, leading to the demise of the individual.
This was confirmed by the National Disaster Management Organisation in the Ada West District.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 29, when the boat, carrying ten individuals, experienced a leakage, causing it to sink.
Four out of the ten people on board were declared missing after the incident.
However, three people were rescued.
One person was recovered dead.
The remains have been deposited at the mortuary.
