A farmer in his 20s who has been identified as Kobby has been accused of defiling two minors. at Assin Odunkrom in the Assin South District.
The young man, according to the details available, lured the victims into his room and allegedly defiled them.
Our reporter, Oheneba Ambrose, reported from the scene on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM that the two victims were playing on the suspect’s porch when the rain began.
Kobby then took advantage of the situation and allegedly lured them into his room.
He is accused of inserting his manhood in the anal region of the victims and also in their mouths.
Oheneba Ambrose indicated that at the time the incident occurred, the parents of the victims were not at home because they were trading in the market.
He further revealed that the victims were found half dressed in the room of Kobby with his manhood still erected.
One of the victim’s mothers, Madam Esi Boah, explained that both parents live in the same neighbourhood.
According to Madam Boah, “the suspect did not only insert his penis in the children’s vaginas, but he also inserted the penis in their anus and mouths”.
This came to light when one of the mothers barged into the suspect’s room after looking for the children for a couple of hours without success.
Meanwhile, Madam Esi Boah appealed to the Central North Regional Police Commander, DCOP Emmanuel Teye Kudjo, and the District Commander, ASP Robert Kyeremeh, to immediately arrest the perpetrator to ensure justice is delivered to the innocent children.
The Assin South District Commander confirmed that he had received the defilement complaint, and thus, efforts were made in advance to arrest the perpetrator.
Medical forms have been issued to the victims to be sent to the hospital for a medical examination.
