Two lovers stabbed themselves, killing the lady and leaving the male in severe condition.
According to reports, the lady, a level 200 student, invaded her lover’s home after receiving a call from a friend that the man had brought another woman.
The incident occurred at Great Lamptey, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
Our correspondent, Oheneba Ademah, described the terrible occurrence on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, stating that the lady, who is now deceased, received a call from the aforementioned friend informing her that his fiancee had brought in another girl and was having intercourse with her.
Out of anger, the lady allegedly grabbed a knife, hid it in her dress, ordered a motor, and arrived at the fiancee’s residence.
Upon arriving, he confronted the man and asked him why he had brought in another woman in her absence.
The two engaged in heated exchanges, following which the lady asked the lover to open the door so she could verify if there was no other woman in his room.
The young man turned to open the door, but the lady allegedly stabbed him in the back of the neck.
With blood gushing from his neck, the young man wrestled with the woman, took the knife from her, and allegedly stabbed her many times.
This supposedly resulted in her death.
The individual is currently admitted to the police hospital for medical care.
The police have already opened an investigation into the incident.
