Mahama cannot be considered a leader; he accidentally fell into the opportunity to be Prez Palgrave Boakye-Danquah

The government spokesperson for governance and security, Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, has criticized former President John Dramani Mahama, describing him as a failed leader.

He claimed that the past president could not be considered as a leader because he was unprepared for the presidency and became president by default after the death of John Evans.

He stated that if Ghanaians really want a future for the country, then the NPP, as a vehicle with competent people, is the party to consider in the December 7 general elections.

He stated that he would be very disappointed if Ghanaian people chose Mahama as the next president since he is unprepared and incapable.

“I have no doubt in my mind that if the Ghanaian people really want a future for this country, I think that the New Patriotic Party, as a vehicle with the people we have assembled, are the viable people to promote and develop this country. I will be very sad, and I don’t think it will happen if the Ghanaian people consider John Dramani Mahama. I have seen his leadership, and when we talk of leaders, I don’t think he is a leader. I don’t think so. Accidentally, he fell into the opportunity to become president.

He wasn’t prepared for it. He became president by accident. He never dreamed of becoming the next president. If not for the death of John Evans Atta Mills, John Dramani Mahama would not have been the president.”

He also suggested that Mahama won the 202 elections, which the NPP had to contest in court because they felt it was rigged, but the court affirmed him, and for the fairness of the democracy of Ghana, they gave him the opportunity to be president.

“But I regret that he won that election. It saddens me that he’s gone into our history as the next president. That is what it is. But I don’t want him to come again. That is why I am presenting Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as the next president. He is more credible and competent compared to all the candidates who have expressed interest. Let’s be fair to ourselves and answer who Ghanaians would want as their president.”

I look at those who have been presented as candidates, and I think the most competent, the most credible, the most humble, and the most globally acclaimed—the one who has a digital understanding of where the world is going and who has demonstrated leadership as Vice President and will do more as President—is Dr. Bawunia.”
