Shalimar Abbiusi, the international spokesperson for the New Force Movement, has stated that the movement’s popularity has expanded beyond Ghana.
The movement has gained popularity in the UK and Europe, with Ghanaians in the diaspora showing interest in supporting its activities, she said.
Speaking in an interview on Rainbow Radio 92.4FM, UK, she stated that the move has started a community in the UK because of the interest expressed by Ghanaians there.
“The response and support we are getting are overwhelmingly positive. Ghanaians in Germany, the Netherlands, and other countries have expressed their interest in supporting the New Force.
“We are building the New Force diaspora community. We have also included Ghanaians who are not in Ghana currently. It is important to listen to the voices of Ghanaians abroad, ” she said.
She said it is amazing to see how this movement goes beyond Ghana and even Africa. We are in Europe and creating a positive impact. We are advocating for positive change in a society that is beautiful to see.”.
The New Force Movement was founded by Nana Kwame Bediako with the mission of contesting the 2024 elections as an independent candidate and offering a redemptive change for the country.
The force was founded to help build a new nation and a new Ghana that will offer Ghanaian youth economic opportunities.
The founder took inspiration from Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
NFM embodies a commitment to holistic development and empowerment, reaching far beyond the ordinary realms of charity to address the interconnected challenges facing African communities.
The New Africa Foundation’s impact also encompasses direct interventions that address pressing needs within communities. From funding life-saving surgeries for those unable to afford medical treatment to supporting the academic dreams of underprivileged people, the New Africa Foundation demonstrates a commitment to leaving no one behind.
Additionally, the New Africa Foundation’s efforts to combat hunger and food insecurity provide nourishment to hungry stomachs, ensuring that individuals and families have access to the basic necessities of life.
