Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has announced that his administration will train one million Ghanaian youth to become coding professionals.
He disclosed this at a media engagement with journalists on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
The initiative he explained would help to bridge the digital gap among Ghanaian youth.
“The NDC promises you this: we shall train One Million Coding Professionals in in-demand digital skills for the growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Knowledge Process Outsourcing ecosystems, ensuring no one is left behind in the digital revolution,” he said.
He laid opined that the digital revolutionary agenda cannot be achieved if there is a consistent digital gap or bridge.
