Road infrastructure is the backbone of our economic growth and social development. By improving our road networks, we are enhancing connectivity, boosting economic activities, and improving the quality of life for countless Ghanaians. Since 2017, we have completed over 12,830 kilometers of roads and added six interchanges, a remarkable achievement compared to the previous administration,” stated.
President Akufo-Addo furthwr indicated that “this ambitious programme will not only improve our road infrastructure but also create employment opportunities for 10,000 Ghanaians, including mechanics, engineers, and artisans. By empowering local assemblies with the necessary equipment and resources, we are fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility within our communities.
The success of this programme depends on the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders. I urge our Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives to take full ownership of this initiative and adhere to the Operational Manual issued by supervising Ministries and key stakeholders.”
