Members of the Ghana-Canada Parliamentary Friendship Association held a successful engagement on Friday, August 9, 2024.
The meeting offered the members an opportunity to discuss issues such as travel and visas, education, agriculture, health, defense, and trade.

The Chair of the Association, Dr. Clement Apaak, the Member of Parliament for Builsa South and also a Deputy Ranking Member on the Education Committee, issued a statement describing the meeting as fruitful.
According to him, the members left the meeting with optimism and hope that the long-standing relationship between Ghana and Canada has been and will continue to be beneficial to both nations.

He also expressed gratitude to the Canadian High Commission and staff, stressing that it is their expectation that the two countries will continue to work together.

Members of the Ghana-Canada Parliamentary Friendship Association, this morning, were hosted by the Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana at her residence.
The meeting dubbed Dialogue with the Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana, offered us the opportunity to discuss and ask questions on the following: a) Travel and visas; b) Education; c) Agriculture; d) Health; e) Defence and f) Trade.

We left the meeting confident that the long-standing relationship between Ghana and Canada has been and will continue to be beneficial to both nations.
We are most grateful to the High Commissioner and her staff, and we look forward to building on what we have started. Long live Ghana! Long live Ghana.
