A 24-year-old washing bay attendant, Kwaku Siaw, has allegedly murdered his 18-year-old fiancee, Adzo.
The incident is said to have occurred at Nkawkaw Krofofrom in the Kwahu West Municipality.
Details available indicate that the suspect and the deceased had two children together.
Parents of the suspect have expressed shock
at the incident, wondering if their son would allegedly kill another of his children.
According to them, they had no idea the two had issues. Neighbours described the two lovers as peaceful and expressed disbelief at the shocking incident.
The suspect has since fled the area.
The police have since retrieved the body of the deceased and are investigating the matter.
