Former Ablekuma Central New Patriotic Party’s youth organiser Isaac Asare, aka Akonoba, has opined that journalists wasting their time discussing the ‘’fabricated agyapadie document’’ may be suffering from some psychological problems.

Describing the document as fake, the politician wondered why journalists, including seasoned ones, would waste their time discussing it.

He said there are serious issues that must interest journalists instead of a document fabricated to paint some people in a negative light.

Appearing on the Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM, Akonobo said it makes no sense for anyone who has planned evil to document it and publish it.

‘’ I don’t know why seasoned journalists will be wasting their time discussing the so-called Agyapadie book. If you are a journalist and you waste your time discussing the Agyapadie document, then there is something wrong with you. From any indication, there is no book written in this world without an author. So someone will go and hide somewhere and write a fake book or fabricate a document, and we will have people believing in it. This will only happen in Ghana because we don’t situate our public discourse well.

Who in his senses would want to document an evil agenda and cause it to be published? So Kwabena (referring to the host), if I want to kill you, you expect me to document the plan and later have it published, exposing myself to my plot to kill you. Is it because I am mentally unstable? Let’s focus on the most important issues. The NPP is about to launch its manifesto of bold solutions that will help transform this country, and that is a more important thing for me than a fabricated document,’’ he added.
