Three construction workers have lost their lives after the building they were working on collapsed.
The incident occurred at Asempa down in Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
A worker who survived the collapse told journalists that a carpenter and two other construction workers got entrapped under the rubble of the collapsed building.
Details available indicate that the carpenter died on the spot, while the two other workers died while they were being evacuated to the hospital.
The workers were filling concrete for the first floor of the two-story building when the entire building collapsed.
