Flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be filing his nomination to contest in the 2024 Presiential election tomorrow, Sunday, September 9, 2024.
According to the party, he would be filing the nomination at the EC’s headquarters.
He will be accompanied by his running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Party’s National Chairman and General Secretary, the Majority Leader in Parliament, and a few Party Leaders.
A statement issued by General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Frimpong Kodua said the candidate after the filing will address party sympathisers and the public after filing his nomination at the party’s headquarters in the morning.
“Members of the Party and the general public are invited to be part of this historic moment of POSSIBILITY in Ghana’s Next Chapter,” he added.
