The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has assured Ghanaians that the government remains committed to promoting sustainable and legal mining in Ghana.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Ministry on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
The statement said the ministry will continue to ensure that responsible mining remains a top priority.
This it added forms part of efforts aimed at protecting the environment and ensuring the well-being of communities affected by mining activities.
