A mobile money operator has been shot and robbed by armed men at American Farm, a suburb of Ngleshie Amanfro in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Region.
The 34-year-old man, Famous Fiagbe, was shot on Tuesday (September 24, 2024) evening and robbed of his money.
Rainbowradioonline.com has gathered that the victim was robbed at gunpoint by two suspected robbers with a motorcycle.
The two robbers took away an amount of GHc120, 000 and shot him multiple times in his legs.
He is currently on admission at the Wineba Trauma Centre for medical care.
The incident took place at 10 p.m. when the victim had closed from work.
The victim lay in a pool of blood, which drew the attention of some residents.
He was rushed to the Amanfro Polyclinic, where he was later transferred to the Winneba Trauma Centre in the Central Region.
The police have since confirmed the incident and launched an investigation into the matter.
The attackers reportedly arrived at the location on a motorcycle and attacked the victim immediately after he locked his shop around 10:00 p.m..
