The Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Samuel Dubik Mahama, has resigned.
The lawyer resigned in a letter to the Chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana.
Mr. Dubik Mahama gave no official reason for his resignation, but stated that it was for personal reasons.
He was appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and assumed office on May 16, 2022.
He was a non-executive director of ECG prior to his appointment as managing director.
Mahama has previously served as a non-executive director of GIHOC Distilleries, a country agent for Gulfsouth Forest Products, and a partner at Dubik & Associates and Wilkins Engineering, among others.
