Following Samuel Dubik’s resignation as Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), David Asamoah has been named Acting Managing Director.
Mr. Samuel Dubik Mahama resigned from his position on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, claiming personal reasons.
Almost 24 hours after Mr. Mahama resigned, David Asamoah was named interim MD.
Asamoah formerly worked as the Deputy Managing Director in charge of commercial services.
Alexander Afenyo Markin, ECG’s Board Chairman, announced the appointment of Mr. Asamoah.
Asamoah brings experience from his tenure as ECG’s Sectional Manager of Revenue, Technical Investigation, and expertise in handling complex cases, including court testimony against companies with illegal power connections.
