A recent police operation in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region resulted in the fatal shooting of five suspected armed robbers who had been terrorising Wassa Asundua residents.
The swift response was facilitated by the community’s timely alert.
The ensuing shootout claimed the lives of four suspects, while one suspect escaped and is now the subject of a police search.
The Police assured the residents and the Ghanaian public that it was on a manhunt for the suspect so he would face justice.
