Bernard Mornah, leader of the People’s National Convention (PNC), has been unsuccessful in his High Court bid to challenge the Electoral Commission’s decision disqualifying him from contesting the presidential election.
His suit was dismissed today, Monday, October 21, 2024, by an Accra High Court.
The PNC’s candidate went to court seeking an
order to have his disqualification overturned.
He was disqualified by the EC on grounds that his nomination forms were fraught with irregularities.
He then ran to the court to have Feb. disqualification overturned.
However, the High Court upheld the Electoral Commission’s ruling.
