Mahama needs to transparently disclose the accurate cost of the Circle Dubai Project if he wants to be President again – Carl Wilson

Carl Wilson

A former member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Carl Wilson has challenged former President John Dramani Mahama to account for the cost of the Circle interchange, aka ‘Circle Dubai’.

The activist opined that there are some controversies surrounding the cost of the project.

Mr. Wilson said Mr. Mahama ought to account to Ghanaians for the cost of the project if he was serious about winning the presidential election.

Speaking in an interview on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he said the corruption tag around Mr. Mahama is not true, and it was something he failed woefully in addressing.

“The controversies surrounding the Circle Dubai project are not new. Alleged stealing of money and going to build houses in Dubai is also not new. We have files to support these claims. We are going to reveal a little of things. When we are speaking, we speak based on substance.

If Mahama wants to challenge me, I am open to the challenge. If Mahama wants to be president again, he should disclose the details of the Circle Dubai project. Before any Ghanaian will vote for him, he should tell us the cost of the project, and then we will also bring files out to show what actually transpired,” he added.

He also expressed disappointment in President Akufo-Addo for being incompetent and running a corrupt administration.

Carl Wilson asserted that the miseries of Akufo-Addo have made it so much easier for Mr. Mahama to consider himself a viable candidate for the office of this country.

He described New Force leader Nana Kwame Bediako Cheddar as the most credible, visionary, and competent third force we have been waiting for over the past years.

“Akufo-Addo has been so miserable that the former president is looking so good and wants to return to run this country. We have to cry for this country. We have an option to vote the NPP and NDC out. They have failed us. Let us get out and embark on a campaign for Nana Kwame Bediako, aka Cheddar.”
