A car travelling from Darbaa to Akropong in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District lost control and crashed into the Owabi River around 6 a.m. today.
According to eyewitnesses, there were five people on board.
A rescue mission was carried out by GNFS personnel, police, volunteers, and Nadmo officials, with four people rescued and admitted to the hospital.
Following the incident, one person was confirmed to have died.
