Former President John Dramani Mahama has shot back at President Akufo-Addo for describing him as a one-term president.
President Akufo-Addo blasted John Dramani Mahama has refused to debate Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The President stated that only first-term presidents refused to debate their opponents, and went on to say that the former president received no level.
However, during a governance event in Accra, Mahama slammed the President, branding him as a ckwaribg agent.
Mahama reiterated his commitment to good governance and promised to strengthen structures that promote accountability.
“I know my level. If someone says I have no level because I served only one time, I know my level is definitely not to be a clearing agent.”
“This is not a quest for witch hunting, but it is a genuine desire by Ghanaians to see public officers held to account for the public trust that was placed in them. Fighting corruption requires courage and principle. I will ensure meritorious appointments and allow the systems of transparency and accountability and fated space to work.”
