Mrs. Anita Love Obo Amissah, the Awutu Senta East Metropolitan Chief Executive, has commended President Akufo-Addo for his record in the road sector.
The MCE argued that the record of President Akufo-Addo is unmatched.
She indicated that the current government has achieved a lot in the road sector, and Kasoa and its environs have not been left out.
She said anyone who will dispute this fact is only engaging in pure propaganda.
“In terms of roads, if we are to outline these achievements, I would say that in collaboration with the Member of Parliament Mavis Hawa Koomson, it is about 60 to 65 kilometres of roads done in the area. President Akufo-Addo year of roads has been beneficial. We have had our fair share of the year of roads.”
Because of our MP, we also got a fair share of our roads. And so it is important to recognise her efforts. The MP is currently working on the Kosoa to Bawjiase road. There is also a contractor on the Bawjiase to the Crown Filling Station. We are appealing to the people to have patience. The project has still been worked on.”
She added that the DRIP machines that were recently launched would be put to good use, and residents should be rest assured that we are working and will continue to work in their interests.
The MCE stressed, “Those who have claimed that we have done any roads in the area may be engaging in propaganda. They should remove their ‘ntaabo spectacles’ so they will the rapids we have constructed in Kasoa or Awutu Senta East. That was the same thing they said about the Agenda 111 hospitals. They claimed we have not constructed the hospitals. Come to my area. We also have an agenda 111 hospital credit our MP and her lobbying skills. The hospital is concurrently under construction.”
